A one of a kind artisan design...

 

 a wonderful piece with antique French Crystal facted Lavender and Black beads with a French antique C1890 Art Nouveau CHATELAINE Silver plate Carnet de Bal or Aide Memoire.  This piece is quite collectable as it is suspended from a Filigree medal and is a unique shape.

 

It features Art Nouveau Florals and Scrolls in a raised relief, so indicative of the period! 

 

 Both sides have a similar motif and I added a Sterling Silver Heart and Eiffel Tower Charm!

 

Beads measures 24-25" ; book is 1" by 1.75" not counting the bale. Inside are Three sheets of Ivory paper, which can be written on in pencil and erased; those clever Victorians!
