ANTIQUE Italian RICORDO Di ROMA Rosary Box and Purple Crystal ROSARY-rosbx

An antique Italian Rosary Box with the Pope, Saint Paul, Saint Peter, Saint Mary Maggiora and Saint Giovanni, Ricordo Di Roma.   The back has IHS in a Sun ray and a Cross at each of the four corners.   The front and back have a raised relief and the sides look like pages in a Book.   The ornate box still maintains the original purple Crystal Bead rosary with a silver cross and central medal with the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ.     Box measures 2" by 2 3/8" , rosary is 18" long when laying doubled.   If you seek the rare and unique in your collections, here is a piece you will be pleased to add !   Lynn Konrad
