This is a Once in a lifetime find!!!   Very rarely do we find a CHATELAINE Carned De Bal encrusted with stones in a gilt patina, YUMMY is all I can say!!!   I draped this "piece de la resistance" on Double Filigree bead capped crystal beads and centered it on an antique filigree finding with a bezel set Rose cut stone.    This piece can be worn long ...or as a doubled Choker for a completely different look, like having TWO necklaces in one!   I added an additional filigree bead crystal drop at the hook closure, so if worn doubled, it dangles from the hook on the second layer.   The cover of the book is pierced and has the most stunning repousse pattern on both sides.   The faceted multi-colored stones set on the notebook compliment the Clear Crystal beads and filigree caps, a match made in HEAVEN!!!    The piece lifts open on a spring mechanism. Paper and pencil are long gone.   Could also hold photos of your loved ones if used as a locket.   This is an Amazing piece and will be a treasure to own if you value rarity, beauty  and exclusivity in your collections!     Crystal Beads measures 33"; book is 1.75" Wide by  2.75" Tall.
