An opulent Chatelaine Mother of Pearl Perfume , a design so typical of the French in this period with the Ornate cage top, beaded edge and Crown inspired Brass and Cork stopper.
 
 
We date the piece between the Victorian and Art Nouveau period, C1860-1890. 
 
These were used by the Victorian woman in the marketplaces to dispel the foul street aromas!
 
 
I suspended this gem on luscious antique French Mother of Pearl Beads completed with ornate chain with an antique Mother of Pearl Heart and the Original Finger ring!!!


A one of a kind treasure…
Necklace measures 29"  long and the perfume is 2.5" Tall.
