We are pleased to offer this enchanting C1890-1910 Compact or Pill Box. It could also have a Small rosary originally, however considering it has a mirror, we lean more towards a pill box.

The piece has fine detail on BOTH sides with a raised relief of St Joan on her horse with the Cross of Lorraine to her left (the region she is from)on the top and Thistle (also indicative of that region) and another Cross on the back.

The detail is amazing from all angles, opens and closes well.

The edges have enchanting scrolls . Simply every angle of this glorious box has a beautiful visage!

Mirror is in exceptional condition for the age, still useable.

Measures 1.5" in diameter.
