From our Duchess Collection....   A  C1920 French Antique Art Nouveau Style Silver Souvenir Match Safe, advertising a drink.     This piece is quite collectable as it features a depiction of the  famous painting by Pierre Auguste Cot, "The Storm".   http://www.oceansbridge.com/paintings/museums/met-museum/big/Pierre-Auguste-Cot-XX-The-Storm-1880.jpg      The reverse side is has the words Chinois Cocktail Frappe.    Could also be used as a pill box, or to carry a small amount of bills or loose change.   Safe measures 2.75" Tall by 1 5/8" W by 3/8" thick.
