We are pleased to note the subject matter. It features a very moving representation of Saint Joan of Arc.

The plaque is mounted on a mother of Pearl type substance.
 
She is crafted in a Brass metal with a superb frame. It features all her important date as well as a raised inscription "Sainte Jeanne D'Arc P.P.N ." (Prenez pour nous, Pray for us, in French)
 
It is a signed piece, "Lavriller", with some other markings/letters.

Measures 2.25" square. It is in good antique condition, please see our photos.

Joan of Arc was born January 6th, 1412 and was only 19 years old when she was
 burned at the stake in 1431. She was lead by Angel voices and brought forth her first
 army at the young age of 16. In her first letter to the English in March 22, 1429 she wrote,
 “I am sent here by God the King of Heaven.” She was canonized as a Saint on May 16th, 1920.
