A one of a kind artisan designed necklace, a wonderful piece with a French antique Art Nouveau Repousse Souvenir Photo Locket Book from Normandy on the northern coast of France.
Both sides have a different repousse raised design with a Nautical flair. The front has a Nostalgic scene of a Boat, Lighthouse, Birds and ocean... evoking memories of warm Summer days and the reverse has a single Anchor and rope.
This piece is quite collectable, a rare find indeed. Books of this nature with a Nautical theme are extremely hard to come by.
There are two antique sepia photos inside of a young boy and girl. Your own photos could be lovingly placed as well as there are four empty metal pages . (Think... like a book)
The pendant is hung on antique French Turquoise Crystal faceted Beads and further embellished with a Sterling silver Floral Cartouche and Marquise Drop.
The hook closure is adorned with an etched diminutive Silver Heart and Swarovski Crystal.
Beads are 19" Long , book is approx 1" by .75".
