From our Duchess Collection....   If you are very discerning in your jewelry collection...seek out the best and most highly regarded pieces...   This superb C1890's Art Nouveau Sterling Silver repousse compact with two completely different sides has been made into a pendant on French antique double bead capped sky blue Crystal Beads.   The front has a central Cartouche nested within a frame of Drapes, a mythological figure head and scrolls, the reverse has a more stylized Cartouche with Berried Laurel leraves and Ribbons....tres Francaise.   Beautiful when worn either way!!! Like having two pieces in one!   Please preview our photos for the inside view of the compact, it retains the original mirror in the lid and is in great shape for its age we are proud to disclose!   If only this compact could talk!!!   Truly a One of a Kind find with a classic note!   There are 2 Hallmarks which we cannot decipher.   Crystal beads/Rollo link chain measure a generous 30"L, Locket/Compact is 1.75" in diameter.     Lynn Konrad
