The piece has fine detail with a raised relief.
 
It features Saint Bernadette and the Virgin Mary in the grotto at Lourdes as the central focal point nestled within a medallion.
 
At the base is an additional plaque with an inscription "Souvenir de N. D. de Lourdes".
 
Above the Virgin Mary is an incising in French, "I am the Immaculate Conception."
 
There is an easel back for display purposes. Measures 4" tall by 2.75" wide.
