This RARE French Belgium Bronze piece with superb raised relief hails from C1910-1920 and was discovered just outside of Paris.
This is the FIRST of its kind we have had the pleasure to encounter on countless trips to France. We are honored to be able to present this wonder here.
This unique antique piece depicts a beautiful Art Nouveau maden wth a Camera in a Berried Laurel Leaf Wreath.
All of the detail is raised.
The reverse side is signed by the artist Vanwege, P.Wael with an inscriptiuon in Belgium.
It is genuine bronze and the weight substantiates this, its weighs in at 55 Grams.
The piece is in very good antique condition; please see our photos for the nuances of ageing.
The patina is wonderful. We did not try to alter the piece in any way, but left the original patina intact.
