We are pleased to note the subject matter. It features the Joan of Arc statue in Rouen as well as timbered 10th century buildings. The card has Satire in its nature with the Royal Chamber pot, pissing on the town, de la Normandie. We are not certian of all the implications, but the coloring is splendid. In the bottom left hand corner is states "T. Savalle Lemarchand" and in the right "Edition V. Cave". It is used and in very good condition, please see our photos. Joan of Arc was born January 6th, 1412 and was only 19 years old when she was burned at the stake in 1431. She was lead by Angel voices and brought forth her first army at the young age of 16. In her first letter to the English in March 22, 1429 she wrote, “I am sent here by God the King of Heaven.” She was canonized as a Saint on May 16th, 1920.
