It hails from the famed city of light, PARIS.
What a unique combination of Net and Tambour Lace with charming floral and vines.
The highlight, of course being the Hand made RIBBON Roses or florals in soft pastels.
We adore the floral motif as well as the delightful side flounces. (Please see photos for detail.)
It is a soft Ivory/Cream color.
Although the piece was originally used as a coverlet, could also be used as a curtain, tablecloth or used to make a stunning garment!
You could layer it underneath with any color of your choice.
The piece is in Good antique condition; a few smaller holes/pinholes and a few repairs, a useable and sturdy piece.
Total measurement is 86” W by 102” (with flounces). The center panel is 54” Wide. Could be used on several sizes of beds, depending on the dust ruffle/underskirt used.
