Antique FRENCH Victorian MOTHER OF PEARL CHATELAINE Purse Pendant Necklace on RED Faceted Glass Beads-n-moppr

From the Duchess Collection….   An opulent petite Chatelaine Mother of Pearl Purse, a design so typical of the French in this period.   We date the piece between the Victorian and Art Deco period, C1900-1920.   The dainty purse is elegantly hung on complimentary  Antique Red facted Glass Beads from the same era. The inside is lined in Red fabric with 3 charming divided compartments to house your treasures.   The clasp works well on the purse, closure is an ornate sterling silver toggle.   A one of a kind treasure… Necklace measures 26-27”  long and the purse is 2.25" W by 1 5/8" Tall.   Enjoy!   FRENCHatHEART Lynn Konrad
