From our Art Nouveau Collection....   An antique C1890 Art Nouveau Silver plated, carnet de bal or Aide Memoire.  This piece is quite collectable as it features a Woman's face with Fairy or Butterfly wings with Florals, so indicative of the period!    The other side has a similar Floral motif with scrolls. Both sides have a  raised relief. The pendant is further embellished with a single Pearl drop, which symbolizes Purity, Spiritual Transformation, Charity, Honesty, Wisdom and Integrity, all the best within us.   Sterling Silver plated chain measures 32" Long; book is 2.75" tall by 1.75" Wide.
