A one of a kind artisan designed piece, a French antique Art Nouveau repousse Saint Joan of Arc Carnet De Bal or Aide Memoire Souvenir Notebook. It still retains the original mechanical pencil and paper. A rare feat indeed!!
The front of the book has a dramatic pictorial of her profile holding her banner in a delightful hammered ground.
This piece is quite collectable, a rare find indeed. The Book is suspended from a 3 Way rosary medal embellished with a Stone and is on Ivory and Matt Bronze faceted beads. I added a vintage Mother of Pearl Cross.
A family heirloom in the making!
Necklace is 32" Long; Relic Book is 1.75" by .2.75" .
