A very rare and special piece, a French Ivorine Bible from Dijon, France.

Bible is dated October 1900.

The front cover is elegantly portrayed with a Sterling Silver Chalice and ornate Scrolls with florals Mother of Peral inserts in both corners.

This was most likely given as a Gift for the First Communion due to the Chalice motif.

Text is in French.

The clasp is also French Ivory with Brass hardware.

Bible measures 3" by 4".
