FRENCH DEDICATION Medal Pearl Necklace Laurel Wreath L COUDRAY-N-minint

Designed by the famous French Sculpter Lucien Coudray, we were so excited to discover this French on a recent sojourn to France. The French word Devouement translates to "Dedication in English.The medal is signed on the lower right.
The Laurel Wreath bale on the medal symbolizes Peace.
This was an award medal for service in the French Minister of the Interior. The Scroll on the back is ready to receive your personal engraving!!
This historical piece is on a Long Single strand of delicate Ivory Pearls completed with Smokey Silver Crystals, embellished with a Rhinestone drop.

It is
cast from the original antique piece over a century old, this lovely reproduction is hand crafte

Necklace is 28"L,  charm is 1 " by 1 5/8".

Marie Alexandre Lucien Coudray ( Paris 21 February 1864 - 1932 ) is a sculptor , engraver and medalist French .
In 1882, he entered the National School of Fine Arts . He was a pupil of Auguste Dumont , Gabriel-Jules Thomas , Henri Emile Allouard and Hubert Ponscarme .

First big prize of Rome in 1893 engraving medals for his work Orpheus Cerberus asleep to the sounds of his lyre .

Second medal in 1900
