A long strand of Silver faceted Crystals upon which is suspended a Silver French Bow and an Italian Bronze Guardian Angel charm, layered with a Gothic inspired Rhinestone Cross.
Both pieces are cast from the original Art Nouveau pieces over a century old, this lovely reproduction is hand crafted.
The front of the medal features the Guardinan angel and has an inscription with three cities in Italy; Torino, Pellegrinaggi,and Escursioni. The back is ready for a personal engraving of a special event, a date, or initials for a First Communion, Confirmation or other religious gift!!
Necklace is 32”L, pendant is approx. 1.5" long by 1.5" wide.

History of the Guardian Angel
A guardian angel is an angel assigned to protect and guide a particular person or group, kingdom or country. Belief in guardian angels can be traced throughout all antiquity. The concept of tutelary angels and their hierarchy was extensively developed in Christianity in the 5th century by Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite.
The theology of angels and tutelary spirits has undergone many refinements since the 400s. Belief in both the East and the West is that guardian angels serve to protect whichever person God assigns them to, and present prayer to God on that person's behalf.
