This piece is like having TWO necklaces in one as it can be worn either way.

A Stunning combination of an antique Religious medal of Our Lady of Lourdes with Saint Bernadette in the grotto at Lourdes.

The reverse has an antique medal of Mother Mary Leonie edged in Gilt on luxurious Filigree.

It is suspended from a Laurel Wreath bale with single Czech faceted Crystal and antique filigree capped Rosary beads and link chain.

Laurel Wreath Symbolism

In common modern usage it refers to a victory. The expression "resting on one's laurels" refers to someone relying entirely on long-past successes for continued fame or recognition, where to "look to one's laurels" means to be careful of losing rank to competition. In some countries the laurel wreath is used as symbol of the master’s degree.
