Antique FRENCH STERLING Silver BABY RATTLE CHERUB Bow DOG Necklace-n-angdog

From our latest trip to France......

A delightful mixture of an antique Silver Baby Rattle with an Angel or Cherub playing with a Dog in a pastoral woodland setting. The repousse motif is the same on both sides.

It is suspended from a Sterling Silver plated French BOW on Etched chain interspersed with faceted clear double bead capped beads.

We have yet to come across a rattle of this design, a rare piece of history indeed, we adore the "Tres Francais" motif on BOTH Sides!

The sound of the rattle is delightful to the ears!

A fun and unique piece, a great gift idea for a new mom or Grandmother!

Measurements~ Necklace is approx 31" long, Rattle is 1.5" W .
