Antique ENGLISH HORSE MATCH SAFE Necklace Pendant Stirrup Crop HORSESHOE Crystals PEARLS-n-match

From our English Collection....   A  C1920 English Antique Brass Match Safe with an Equestrain theme. A rare and amazing piece.     The front has a Horse head within a Horseshoe and underneath is a Crop and Stirrup.   The box slides open , and was originally a Match safe, hoever could also be used as a pill box, or to carry a small amount of bills or loose change. Lid is hinged and functions well.   I mounted the piece on a wide oval linked chain and added Pearls and Swarovski Crystals.   Safe measures 1.25" by  3 5/8" long.   Chain is 29", has a brass hook closure and can be worn shorter if desired.   Marked ENGLAND on inside of handle.   Lynn Konrad
