From our Lourdes collection.....
A one of a kind artisan designed piece, a French antique C1890 Art Nouveau repousse Lourdes Souvenir Photo Locket Book with photos of this glorious place.
This piece is one of the rarer ones, shaped like a PURSE with grand detail on BOTH sides. The front depicting the The Apparition with the Vigin Mary and Saint Bernadette in the Lourdes grotto.
The reverse the NDL (Notre Dame Lourdes) with the Crown nested between Lily Flowers, under a Fleur de Lis and Two Crosses on the Purse frame.
Both sides have a raised relief.
There are a total of Eight photos inside, all related to the Apparition, The Virgin Mary, Lourdes, Saint Bernadette and the Grotto.
The pendant is suspended on my FAV type of Rosary Beads, Mother of Pearl.
I used added two Sterling Silver Cross.
The ornate toggle closure is sterling silver.
Rosary beads measure 17.75" Long; Purse is 1" tall by 1 1/8" Wide.
